FYI channel numbers for charter SECN

Charter says that the channel numbers will be 802 and 803. Regular and HD respectively. They will show up am 12:01 in the morning on the 14th

How will this work.. They suddenly pop up on a blank screen? I've never seen a channel be born before.

611 for DirecTV, just after the Big 10 Network. There will be multiple channels (similar to other sports channels) in case of overlapping programming.

I was actually wondering the same thing...I don't see an unused channel on comcast, so I am not sure where it will fit in...
at any rate, it will be cool to see the very first second that the network broadcasts, as it will likely be around for many years to come...
ETA: anyone know what the channel will be on comcast?.....

don't know, man...there is a hell of an alumni base in the houston area. hopefully that along with A&M joining the conference carries some stroke in that area...

According to this link it looks as though it will be carried nationally and I really don't see why not as the big ten network is carried here in Shreveport. Also, it says it will show up on channel line ups on the day of launch.
