Thieves got my 2 year old stoeger 3500 so I'm going to upgrade. Always wanted the SBE but I held the A5 and it feels great. Looked at the A400 as well but it has too many pieces inside that I could get dirty.

got the new A5 in 30" inch barrel last year and I absolutely love it. It's a bird killing machine!

Don't worry. By second split we should be full of green and I'll have a new gun, maybe a5, to point at em

that is one firearm that I will be an arse hole about between me and my brother if he tries to claim it. 1970s Belgium A5

I initially wanted the 28" inch barrel but when I went down to G & H the 30" is all they had at the time. I do not regret it it seems that extra 2" helps when the birds are running off or not decoying in.

ohh yea that extra 2" is what she said!

The one I had, I gave it to my grandson. Sweet Sixteen that was my Dad's that was shot only a few times. 1973 and sweet fitting shot gun I ever shot.

Got pieces of another sitting in my shed that was picked up out the trash after Katrina down in the parish. Everything is there but the front stock and nut that holds the barrel on. I really never looked at what the date is on it.

I'm going to see what it is.

Had to rub a shite load of rust off it, but it's a 1968. 30" barrel, 3" chamber. I see now that the butt plate is missing too.

Awesome find in trash. I found an old flint lock muzzy wrapped in cheese cloth in my attic.
Oh an old Remington barrel made in New York or something

I always wanted one with the MODB camo before they discontinued it

Now the only one I can find is a brand new one in Canada and apparently they won't ship to the us

Two pieces is too many? Might want to stick with New England Pardner shotguns.

In Baton Rouge.

Have you taken one apart and looked? The a5 comes apart in like 4 pieces. Meanwhile the a400 had like 15. That gas operated shite looks like a pain if you accidentally get it muddy.

Just bought a old Magnum 12 a couple of weeks ago. Planning to use it this year for ducks.

Made the mistake of asking to hold one of the new A5's at Academy last week. Crap that thing felt good! May have to sell some plasma and have a garage sale to buy one but I will own one in the near future.

I shot the new A5 last week. It is so close to by Super Black Eagle that I can not come up with a reason to buy one.

I own one, pull the bolt handle and you have two parts to worry about. Genius.
