In honor of Corn Fest, NIU will wear corn-themed jerseys for opener

Proceeds from the auction will be split among the Voluntary Action Center of DeKalb, Boy Scout Troop 33, and the Canaday Family, a local family whose eighth-grade son, Christopher, was born with pulmonary atresia and has had 34 surgeries during his young life. Meanwhile, Christopher's father, Mark, an NIU employee, is battling esophageal cancer.

The jerseys are meh, but I'm sure the kids enjoying mixing it up a little bit.
Looking forward to seeing NIU continue to progress. They have been a very good program over the past few seasons, averaging over 11 wins/season. They've built a pretty solid pipeline into Wisconsin, often taking some of the kids Wisconsin had offered preferred walk-ons to.
