Gf went to Fausto's Saturday and brought me my favorite appetizer home. I haven't ever had leftovers, so I have no idea how to heat it up and eat it for lunch.

Basically it is a big ball(softball) of cheese, meat, and peas that is fried. Microwave is gonna be a soggy mess, so what temp and duration would be good in the oven>

350 (maybe even lower), and you'll just have to keep an eye on it. You don't want the over too hot, or you'll burn the outside without reheating the inside.

I'm definitely better at eating than I am at chef'ing. Any idea on the time? Hell, I don't even know what to keep an eye on

Most of my lunches consist of a poboy or fast food, and by dinners are either frozen, leftovers, take-out, or my roommate cooks. I am definitely not any type of chef, but I do want to eat this thing

My appliances consist of a microwave and an oven

Maybe wrap in foil and cook in the oven and cook for 10 min. then unwrap the foil and let it go another 5 min. to crisp the outside. That's my best guess without looking seeing it.

Alright, I'm gonna try the foil method, but for double the time. It is actually the size of a softball

I love arancini. Go buy a toaster oven for $40 at WalMart. TOs are the best way to reheat fried food...the food is closer to the heating element than in a "regular" oven, and you can use the broil setting to re-crisp the outsides.

How are the arancini at Faustos? Best I've had in NOLA were at Ancora.

Very damn good. It is just one big ball. Their portions are pretty big, so it could be considered a meal for some people.

I can eat much more than anyone I know, and I was not able to eat both the arancini and a plate of spaghetti. I was only able to eat half of the spaghetti
