First time both have decided to play up as high as they are allowed (Evangel has before though).

Division 1 is loaded. It's gotta be one of the toughest brackets in the nation

Will be tougher on Curtis because there are a lot of 5A teams that can beat them. It was easy for Curtis to dominate the lower levels.

exactly. they always ducked 5A

Div 1 is strong but it still isnt what 5A used to be.

Rummel is the only team that will give them a game, if they even do.

I think Evangel will be better then Rummel most years, but I think Curtis will win 90% of the titles still

Are you serious? Please name all of the 5A teams that will beat Curtis.

Curtis has to essentially play 3 playoff games to win a state title. They will be a top 4 seed to get a first round bye.

Chances are, the first playoff game will not be too tough for the Patriots since they will likely play a Jesuit or Brother Martin type team coming off a playoff game while Curtis is rested.

Evangel is still good but a shell of its former self from the late 90s-early 00s.

I know Curtis still typically plays a pretty tough out of district schedule, but they still get to play in their 3A district during the regular season?
