Is this the last season on Chavis' contract?

If the D doesn't have a stellar season(which I don't expect) do they still pay him the same?

I hope they work something out soon to extend him.

I think all contracts automatically roll into one more year so it looks like he is good until the end of next year. Look for new contracts for all after this year.

Me too. I think this Chavis guy might be pretty good at coaching the defensive team.

Our D gave up huge chunks of yardage late in the season, a real down year for a Chavis D.....and we were still 12th or 15th nationally overall (from memory).
I re watched the AnM game yesterday and it was a defensive masterpiece.
Chavis stays here as long as he likes.

Many on here continue to rank the Tiger offense as more productive than the Tiger defense for 2013. I watched all the games last year and agreed with this theory.
The reality was last year was an "offensive year" in college football. The Tiger defense was ranked higher than the Tiger offense both nationally and in the SEC.
