This looks like something the wife and I would enjoy. Has the look and feel of Oscar-bait, which I'm totally fine with.
Will see.
Anyone else even heard about this movie? I just saw the trailer last night for the first time.

The trailer looked amazing and the actor playing Hawkings is spot on.
Seems very "Beautiful Mind" like.

This. I've always admired him and have been disappointed in his haters, but not sure I could sit through that. I'm a sucker for tear jerkers.

Also, I'm not really crazy about the romance angle considering Hawking left this woman for his nurse who now is supposedly abusive to him and burns him with cigarettes and shite.

Hawking using his computer to convey his emotion, "crying, sad, crying, sad".
Camera pans around bedroom.
Hawking's wife is banging some huge black guy on their bed.
Wife finishes and begins to beat Hawking.
Call it Stephen Hawking: The Theory of Cuckolding.

Hawking's first wife apparently fell in love with another man prior to her divorce with Hawking. And Hawking knew about it and let it continue.

He is a smart enough guy to understand that women need something he can't give them. However, if he knew she was in love with a different man that is a little different.
