Nice.

LaCouture impressed me last year as a Freshman, which is next to impossible to do as a DL (though graduating early probably helped). Dude will be an absolute stud by the time he's done here.

DT Quentin Thomas may not be out for year with torn biceps as originally reported! "Hopefully, we'll get him back here soon," Miles said.

ETA:

Les Miles named Frank Herron as a starter at DT in place of injured Q. Thomas and has moved DE Lewis Neal to DT for depth.

Frank is hungry AF. Putting in that work.

ETA: Maybe we could edit the title to "Media Day 2014 updates?"

Please be true! I'd love to see QT back as soon as he can get healthy.

Very surprising. Isn't Neal a wee bit small for DT.

More than a wee bit, listed at 6'1" 255 lbs, makes little sense. I hope it's not because they didn't see him making an impact at DE, so let's just move him to DT where he'll be an emergency fill in if more injuries occur.

Could Malone or Clapp be converted to a D-Lineman at some point?

Im assuming he'll only lineup there on passing downs and still play some at DE

I'm okay with this, I wonder how long QT will actually be out for

Neal is suppose to be strong as an ox with a quick first step, maybe he can get to the QB from the DT position.

Yip, makes sense on passing downs. I'm not sure how he'll hold up against the run though. They'll probably try add some bulk on him, if he can get to 270 or so, then maybe he can be a viable every down option.

3 tech I think he will be fine in a reserve role or passing situation roll.

Exactly what will happen, and the young mans technic is very good also, now if he's doubled..... he gone but if not he's relentless and can give a big guard fits with moves and his strength.
