Such a tragic ending for this show. There were so many great storylines being built. All for nothing. This will always be the show that never got to build to it's pinnacle. Kills me. Especially sucks that it's only 8 episodes. It's almost an insult

I don't get it either. Still so much story to tell. Is this HBO's decision or the creators?

Winter said last year that he had no plans to end the show soon, then boom

Does BWE have high production cost? Maybe between BWE and GoT production cost is too high to keep them both going and they are sticking with the bigger draw. I just can't imagine cost on BWE are that high. Depending on what they are paying the actors if GoT cost 1 million an episode I would think BWE is south of 500K.

It's very expensive. 5-6 million per episode. Ratings just don't justify it. frick America

Damn I was way off, if BWE cost that much then GoT must be 10 million plus per episode.

Agreed. They had so much more to explore. Ridiculous that we won't even get into Al and Lucky taking over.

I'm feeling Deadwood over again.

The costs were too expensive and winter said the actors were ready to move onto other things because they were getting bigger

Even Steve Buscemi said he was ready for it to end. Who knows, sounds like a grueling production
