was like listening to Rain Man call a game.

I kept waiting for Faulk to say, "I'm an excellent driver."

He has a very good broadcasting voice. Hard to believe he grew up in the Desire Projects.

I'm going to assume you're being sarcastic. Faulk was approaching Dizzy Dean territory tonight in his butchering of the English language.

Marshall Faulk is one former player who won't be participating in any settlement money for brain damage from playing the game. You have to own something before you can claim damage to it.

He was better than some of the regular season D slot announcers we've had in the past.

Idk I think he had a lot of good insight that some announcers lack, but you could tell he's not use to calling live games.

That's weird. I didn't hear that broadcast (had the pleasure of listening to Joel Meyers). But, anyway, when I've heard Faulk speak or be interviewed he sounded okay.

Faulk was just fine. Some people just love to bitch. It was a local broadcast of the first scrimmage of the year.

I thought the whole crew did a really nice job. One of the best local broadcast I've seen in a while.

I listened to Meyers on Cox and he was fantastic, but I was also dvr'ing the NFLN broadcast, but it must've been a local blackout for Saints fans cuz they switched it to a replay of KC-CIN.

I can't imagine Faulk would be Rain Man awful because he's been the Rams' preseason color man for some time now.

Faulk was actual pretty decent from what I remember when the Rams played the Colts during Andrew Lucks first preseason game (when Luck's very first pass went for a TD).

I'm just glad the NFLN didn't do what they did Thurs nite during the SF-BAL game putting Ari Wolfe and Kurt Warner in front of a green screen pretending to be at the game when in actuality they were in NFLN studios just commenting on the teams philosophies and not on the specific plays of the new vets/rooks/udfa's.

I watched the game with my 2 brothers. We started to play the "take a drink every time that Marshall says 3rd down is the money down" game. Let's just say that the end of the game got VERY hazy.

Man, insinuating that Marshall is dumb, may make you seem edgy to some of the other morons around here, but it is just plain wrong.

I agree, fine by me as well. I actually found it kinda cool, but admittedly on watched the 1st half. I may be biased in that I'm a Faulk fan, but still...
