These athletes need to step back and count their blessings and realize how fortunate they are just to have the opportunities that they have. It's an honor to wear your school's colors and play a sport in front of thousands of fans.

Plus, the entitled mentality of feeling violated by having your likeness used in a video game makes me sick. I just wish I was notable enough to be in a video game

What does that have to do with an organization using your likeness for their profit without your permission?

I agree, and hope the TV networks and game companies will also realize it is an honor to be associated with college sports, and donate all their profits to charity

Frankly I don't think these kids will hold up to the pressure when media, sponsors and fans start belittling them about their "salary" and work performance.

Salary and work performance?

You don't think they get plenty of criticism just about their performance as it stands now?

so the same goes for NBA and NFL athletes. Or anyone that has any type of job for a prestigious company, right?

They still have to create a way to pay these athletes. LSU selling a #7 jersey doesn't mean it's Fournette with no name. How will that go?

Raise tuition, seasons tickets, fees, cancel smaller sports that drain the budget
