Who supports all-out war on ISIS?

I'm not for starting another war, especially in Iraq, but if what I'm reading and hearing is true, ISIS needs to be eliminated from Earth and if all-out war is required to do so, I'm in support of it.
Airstrikes against them is one thing that I'm 100% in support of President Obama. It's a good start but again, if what I'm reading is true, it should only be the start of what we're planning. My heart is absolutely broken for the poor Christian victims of ISIS.

Why does it fall to us to do it? Why can't the Saudis step in? How about the French? Aussies?

how many countries are ISIS in?
are there people who support ISIS in this country?
These terrorist groups spread outside of one country usually.

...just the Christian victims?
what an odd line to draw. it's not like they're only targeting Christians...
I don't support it in practice because we've seen this script too many times before, it'll never end the way it's supposed to start. but if it would, I'd be for it. ISIS is terrible

French have already stepped up. Before us, actually.

1. Some air strikes without troops on the ground directing these things will hardly make a dent in ISIS forces. May also cause unnecessary collateral damage.
2. We cannot do an all out war right now. Being financially and mentally drained from warfare and over reaching government has made sure of this.
3. We can put special operations on the ground. Will give our air power actual targets plus get the Iraqi army and Kurds back on their feet. Not saying this is the answer, but it's our only effective military action.
That is all. Go ahead and critique. For the record I do not think we should do much.

I don't have a problem with it it's just people need to realize the whole reason ISIS is in Iraq is because Obama arbitrarily announced a withdrawal date and pulled the troops out before Iraq was ready for it. He then declared the war to be over and Iraq to be a stable place all in order to placate is idiot base.

not sure how you when a war against a "group". it seems that groups will never sign peace treaties like countries will. I mean.....groups are scattered throughout the world. can't defeat "groups" in my opinion. they're like a virus

I'll support it if Iraq grants Kurdistan independence and reforms to be more inclusive of Sunni minority.

Perhaps because we caused this by destroying the man who could have stopped this?
I doubt if ISIS seriously tries this with Saddam in power or certainly wouldn't capture this much territory in Iraq.

No because Saddam was doing his own mass killings.

So do we get involved in every genocidal-ish situation or only ones involving christians?
This should be left up to the people in the region - Iraqis, Syrians, Kurds and Iranians and whatever other ethnic, non-state group opposes these thugs. Let them settle this region themselves.
