First dates: what restaurant? What'd ya order? Anything funny interesting?

For me...

Katie's in mid city. On a Saturday at noon. I already had 2 magic hats in me when she arrived. We sat at the 2 top next to the host stand and bar. I ordered the fried green tomato and shrimp rem poboy. She never had a poboy (NYC transplant) and wanted to order a turkey. I turned off my charm for a second and told her your first poboy will not be some lean arse turkey poboy. Made her order a shrimp instead. Probably best life decision she ever made other than graduating from duke... And we are still together. The next date was the following tuesday and delachaise. From then on always takes my recommendation when we dine out.
