Yeah, Jenji Kohan is just good at coming up with edgy concepts, and terrible at developing and sustaining a plot and keeping her characters worth following.

Jenji Kohan didn't come up with the concept for OITNB.

And I sincerely disagree that it's not a good show. It's fantastic.
