Mears faced up to a year and a half in jail and a $3,000 fine on the combined charges, but was granted a form probation which will erase the charges from her record after two years.

We need to remember this, there is a double standard for a reason. It's because women need that double standard to even attempt to compete in a world that is filled with men that are generally better at everything worth doing in this world than they are.

i understand domestic abuse is a problem..but when an adult comes at you MALE OR EEMALE (if she really is a woman) and start beating on you, you should be able to throw a punch back at that sack of shite so she stops.
coming from someone who was attacked violently by my ex prior to my divorce..i speak from personal experience. i had to sit there with my hands at my sides and try to calmly dial the police when every primal urge in my body wanted to unleash on her.
had i done that i guarantee you my life would have been affected greatly.
