Nigeria was the target all along. Don't you see? From Nigeria it will mushroom cloud all over Africa.

How can we really claim that all men are equal when some eat infected bat meat?

Ok honestly, to those who know a little about infectious diseases and disaster management..

What would have to occur with this disease that would be a cause for REAL concern for those here in the US?

A public health emergency would probably be declared if someone in the US (not the two in Atlanta) tested positive.

Why is it that we should all ignore an ebola outbreak, but the CDC sharts themselves every Sep/Oct trying to get everyone to take a flu shot?

It would have to mutate to a strain that is spread through the air.

As of now, in a country like the US, we are not that much in danger of it spreading rapidly. It can only be spread through touching infected bodily fluids.

One is present in the United States and one is not.

The flu kills lots of people and is spread in multiple ways.

Ebola is only spread through coming into contact with infected bodily fluids.

The new super-duper deadly strains of flu always seem to come from Asia. Or at least that's what they keep telling us.
