I know. I'm pretty sure the WB Event films are Justice League movies. One of the 2018 releases is Man of Steel 2.

I believe a stand alone Batman film is rumored to be in the works for a 2019 release.

Found it...it was a very similar thread for Marvel releases from a few weeks ago.

JESUS.

That's a lot of movies in a short amount of time.

With Marvel Phase 3 and that going on, the superhero movie bubble might burst.

What has been the pace previously?

Anybody worried about quantity over quality?

The summer movie season is practically going to become the superhero movie season. It's been moving that way since this whole thing began back in 2000 with the release of the original X-Men.

WB Event Film
I think those are probably non DC Warner Bros movies. They talk about Fantastic Beasts in that article.

They're expanding the blockbuster season. Batman V Superman in March, Guardians in August...

I wouldn't be surprised if DC, Marvel, Fox, and Sony changed more dates and stretched things out so that they have some room between their releases.

im a giant comic book fan. read all my life, etc, etc.

but i think between DC, Marvel, Fox, and Sony, there will be too many comic book movies. it is a little crazy if you look at the sheer numbers between the 4 companies.
