An even more compelling graph would be the original and adjusted price of games. They've been hovering in the $40-$60 range for decades. Yet people are complaining about the recent trend of games moving from $50 to the $60 price point.

It's out there, I've seen it, I just don't remember where. They are cheaper now than they ever have been.

That. My oldest brother had an Atari 2600. I remember he told me one time that Pac Man was $60 as a new release. This was when he was working at a grocery store and minimum wage was around $2.50/hr.

I didn't realize how much my parents spent for the Atari and the games I had. Makes me feel kind of bad.
