merchant accounts/etc?

I have a customer having problems with IC Verify. She's been hounding their service desk for a month and they can't seem to resolve her issues. Basically the software crashes when she tries to settle a batch.
At this point, the software vendor has told her she needs to wipe her machine and do a clean Windows install. Now, I can do that if I need to, backing up all her stuff, clean install, restore, etc.

However, there's nothing else wrong with the machine. All her other software works fine. The machine runs fine.

I'm tempted to tell her to save the money paying me and ditch IC Verify and get an Authorize.net account. I have very limited experience with this, though, and I'm not sure one could replace the other.

Does anyone have experience with this?

i didn't have the best experience with flagship merchant, even though they were highly rated.

i use paypal now. it's % is slightly higher, but it's legit, secure, and no hidden fees/charges

Paypal allows you to charge people's credit cards? Or they have to submit payment to you via paypal?

they allow you to swipe a card and do a transaction, they charge you a couple of percent.

intuit has a competing solution. in fact there are quite a few of them. the biggest is square.

this will work if they don't do a ton of volume, if they do a ton of volume or high ticket items, the fees add up.

Authorize.net / nsoftware/Heartland Payments, intuit GoPayments/QuickBooks

Any of these would work. What's the point of sale need?

We had problems with IC Verify weekly when we used it. We dropped it for Square a couple years ago and have had almost no problems since.

I own an ISO that handles this daily....what is her business type? E-commerce, brick and mortor, phone orders?

How much does she process per month on average?

Give me that info and I'll steer you straight.
