The most impressive part is his ERA is below 2.50 with the Yanks. He looked filthy tonight.

Who knows, the DBacks are a shite show

On Saturday, GM Brian Cashman said that a study by the club’s analytics department before the trade convinced the Yankees that McCarthy could get back to the success he had enjoyed in previous years if he reincorporated his cutter, a pitch the Diamondbacks instructed him to stop throwing this season.

In addition, McCann went to McCarthy after catching him in Cleveland last week and convinced him to throw his four-seam fastball up in the zone at times as a counter of sorts to his sinker.

I cannot figure out what the Diamondbacks are doing. They are probably the worst run organization in baseball right now.

From a sabermetric standpoint his ERA the first half of the season was almost a full run above what his FIP said it should be. He was a victim of some bad luck (.346 BABIP) and apparently some questionable coaching decisions.

Glad to see him so much success in New York.

It's amazing he's 4-0 with the inept Yankee offense.
