AT&T Data Usage - How to view usage by app or other details?

Does anyone know how to view details of data usage for AT&T? I was on the unlimited plan for a long time and looked at my historical average data use and it made sense to switch to a 5GB plan, because I rarely went over 4GB. As soon as I switched, my data usage basically doubled. It makes no sense to me because I haven't changed any data use habits. I've searched but I can't find any resource or tool by AT&T or third party that can show me my data usage by App. I just want to know wtf is going on. It's a big coincidence that my data usage spiked heavily as soon as I got rid of unlimited.

cant you just swipe down your main screen to settings and tap the 'data' icon and see what's using your data for the month? 
hint: its going to be google music or pandora that uses most of it unless you're a porn addict

AT&T doesn't break it down by app (and they shouldn't, because that would require them to monitor what you do), but both Android and iOS break down data usage by app for you. Which do you have?

My data manager has a widget that goes in the drop down. It is very accurate.
