Like a boss

quote:

It was a lot quieter Sunday night outside James Taylor’s home than it was just hours before.Taylor, 20, calls the farm house that’s been in the family for 100 years his party house.Taylor said Saturday night started out as a planned birthday party for a friend, but it quickly grew to more than 2,000 people....

With two DJ’s, a fire thrower, go-go dancers and strippers, Taylor believes he successfully threw the largest party ever to hit West Michigan. As for reports of overdoses, “I didn’t force anything down anyone’s throat,” Taylor said. “I didn’t make anyone stay here until 7 a.m. or 11 a.m. or whenever it is that everyone finally left. I didn’t make this kid pass out on my floor. People wanted to be here. That was their decision.”

Cool, he stole an idea that was done by an Australian kid IRL, and a movie was made about it already

Yes, and a sunny day that he thought would never end.

That guy was refreshingly honest. I can respect that about people.

He uses the term "spaz"

furthest thing from "Like a Boss".

I agree with what he said. All he did was host a party. He didn't make anyone do anything. That was 100% that persons choice. He just probably had an awesome time

He's seen lonely nights when he could not find a friend...
But they had just passed out in the guest bathroom again...

I love parents and adults my age and younger today being all shocked and put out by parties like this when you know good and well they had their share of it growing up. They and their reactions are the funniest of all, because they think they're pulling something over on people.

When I was a teenager and young adult, I didn't know anyone who hadn't been to one of these parties. We had them all the time.

And furthermore, I think James is correct. If there's a problem to be had here with young kids there, it's a parenting issue.
