What do you think about the new Hyundai Genesis?

I've seen a few of these around and they look pretty nice. Have they finally shed the label of an inferior brand? I've given up my Sierra dreams but still want a new car in about a year. I had initially thought about getting an A6 but that's just so predictable.

Nice looking car.

Hyundai and Kia have REALLY stepped up their game in the last 3 or 4 years.

Don't they have one of the best warranties around?

ETA: I think that car looks pretty nice. I would give it a test drive.

Yep, them and Kia (subsidiary) offer 10-year, 100,000 mile warranties.

they make solid vehicles now.
I would however stay away from the Genesis or any vehicle they make with a v-6 since evidently they still incorporate timing belts in their v-6 motors unlike every other car manufacturer now.

Yes they do, 10 years 100,000 miles. Wife has a 2013 Sonata Turbo, runs really well and suprisingly comfortable. Can't say anything bad about it.

My gf's dad has had some minor issues with his (namely the genesis lurch)...but overall it's been a good car. His is also an earlier model, pretty sure they've ironed out the kinks. For the money, they are really hard to beat and they look great.

It has 5.0L 420HP V8. I can outrun the infected on Carrollton.

Very nice looking car. If I was in the market for a new car would definitely check them out. What are they selling for?

They are nice, but I like the Subaru Legacy better. That will be my next car.

The 5.0 liter engine starts at $51k. No thanks. Looks good, though.
