Supposedly he's beefed up this summer and been Moffittized . I guess we'll get some updated weights in a few days. He's gonna be a great addition to the team. I don't think he redshirts

I don't think he redshirts either considering we only have 4 total Halfbacks

Uh, no , he won't redshirt. There's not enough guys at RB to even consider that IMO...

I hope he redshirts. Barring LF being the biggest 5* bust in history he'll be playing second fiddle. Redshirt this year, become fulltime starter in his Soph-RS year, go pro, get drafted in the second or third round.

It isn't something you "consider" in August anyway. If it's November and he hasn't been needed/hasn't played, I'd bet he redshirts. But before then, nobody knows. We have three guys seemingly ahead of him, but the depth chart isn't finalized since fall camp starts tomorrow. He may be needed before we know it.

So he would pass up Fournette during Fournettes Junior year?

Dude won't redshirt, nor should he.

Since he had better Stats and played in 5A and is from the Best Bank I think he will start!!

He's not redshirting. Magee and Hilliard are seniors and when they're gone we will only have 2 backs with game experience. Also we have a lot of top rb's coming in in 2015 and 2016.

No chance he red shirts unless he's hurt. You just don't redshirt RBs. There is no need. None of the good ones stay 5 years.

This kid will leave his make at LSU. He was rated the 11th best back in the country coming out of John Ehret. They play real ball down there. At 6'1 225 he will be another physical runner in our loaded backfield.

Is Spencer Ware a fair comparison?

I have a feeling this guy is gonna be the "nail in the coffin" type RB. The one who cleans up for TM and LF in the 4th.

pics or GTFO….also change our subject before this gets whacked or anchored

Going to move him to FB so he can crack skulls and we can have 2 RB sets.

Those are some pretty big shoes to fill. I certainly hope you're right.

I expect him, Chark, and Battle to be the hidden gems in this class.

I'll have to see pics to believe this... I was at LSU during the Dalton & James Gang years and saw Dalton a few times around the quad and the guy was walking around on tree trunks...

He'll be depth until somebody gets injured.
I remember Michael Ford 5 star being redshirted in 2009 when we had Scott, Murphy, Keiland, Holliday, and Ridley (who redshirted the year prior with only Scott, Williams, Murphy, and Holliday).
We lost Murphy (after 2 carries in the first two games total), then Scott and Keiland in consecutive weeks and still didn't play 5 star Michael Ford that year.
