Watched DOFP last night, it was awesome. first class and DOFP were very well made comic book movies. it's been a while since I've watched the trilogy and first class but I don't remember any foreshadowing of what happens in DOFP. I haven't watched the stand alone wolverine ones so I don't know if it was mentioned in those but it seemed this very significant war just came out of nowhere. There didn't seemed to be a continuity from previous films. Was it kind of prefaced in previous x-mens and i'm just not remembering or can someone more knowledgeable about the comic book universe give some insight. it was a great movie and this isn't a criticism, it just seems the plot came out of the blue
