In the market for 1 or 2 BR place in one of those complexes that have amenities like pool or gym and parking, preferably around CBD or Warehouse district. What are some good places I am missing from the following list?

American Can
930 Poydras
The Saulet
The Saritoga
Georgian Apartments
Gravier Place
Maritime Apartments
The Esplanade

I live in the American can. Love it. Been here 3 years. Management just changed and they are making a bunch if upgrades too.

The Saulet--great, convenient location, but pretty sketchy

I've been looking around at some of these places, $1500-2k. The amenities are nice, but I'm not sure I can swing that much. I want to find a place around $1k, and I don't have much time to do so.

That isn't much more than what I am paying here in Houma for a 1 BR. I'm currently doing $969 so this is all good info for me if work moves me. The one thing I like about my apartment is that cable, internet, alarm, and phone are included. I'm about to have to start paying for my water but that isn't that big of a deal.

What makes The Saulet sketchy in your opinion?

Esplanade is around 1000 with all amenities included and in a nice location. However I would tour around inside because when I did I didn't like it, so decided against it. They have a nice website though. There is a place off of tchoupitoulas around the river walk but I can't remember the name.

But yeah I sort of agree, especially the walk to the elevator.

I've heard good things about Hibernia tower. Never seen the place, so there's that.
