I am in a 2 bedroom 2 bath right now. Before that I was in a 1 bedroom 1 bath, 1100 sq ft and overlooked the bayou on the 4th floor. That was 1300 a month. The one bedrooms go anywhere from around 900 to 1600.

In your rent is included water, Internet and basic cable. So you just pay electric and any cable upgrades. They also have a gym, new saltwater pool and downstairs is a pj's coffee and a wine shop/bar.

I love it and would honestly consider buying if they ever turn it into condos. All units are rental only right now

1100 sq ft

I'd rather not discuss money here. I'm sure it's online somewhere

My sister lived in The Esplanade for years, and I stayed there on many occasions.

Only one parking spot per unit, so you get screwed on extra cars and guest parking (I've had to park hella far away if something is happening at City Park.

You pay for washers and dryers in the building (my sister had a studio with no washer/dryer hookup).

Otherwise, it's a damn great location.

I'd likely not recommend it.

I have a friend that lives in 930 Poydras. He's really happy there. I love it there - it has a killer location.

The most expensive one is $5900. I'm guessing he probably doesn't live in that one, but I suppose it's not a stretch he's paying around 4-5k for a 2 bed.

That's really nice and is pretty comparable to what I have now. Give me a washer and dryer hook up and I'll be happy.

personally, I find discussions of money to be tacky, but i'm sure you'll find plenty of people on the OT willing to discuss their situations with you
