Baton Rouge Area home security system and monitoring.

Who does everyone use for their home security system? I cancelled my contract with allied a few months ago and would like a new one put in.
Also, I am wondering how much a new one will cost to install...?

Custom security.
If the system is already installed, they usually reprogram, not reinstall.
We had free install with contract but added a second control panel in our bedroom for $125 or so.

Signature alarm for me. Owner used to work for Custom I think it was and started his own company. No complaints and no false alarms in past 3 years. They are very quick to contact you if alarm activated.
Owner claims the monitoring service he uses monitors fewer clients per operator making them quicker to respond and won't try to sell you service...i.e. they only monitor your alarm.

Just don't do ADT. We had it for a business we sold and when the new owner wanted to go with someone else, ADT wanted to charge me the full price of the contract, something like $700. We've had certified at my house for years and they're excellent.
