Watching the NFL Network's Hall of Fame Pre-Show and notice other than Rich Eisen, Kurt Warner was other person on the stage who didn't have a Gold jacket on. For a Super Bowl winning QB, I can't recall if I've ever heard his name mentioned as a HOF candidate.

Is he a legit candidate who just may have a long wait to his enshrinement? Or does he have 0 chance of ever getting in?

I don't think he's been retired 5 years. And I think it's 50/50 if he gets in.

It's hard not to say yes but he really only had about 2 really good years and 3 pretty good years. If he was a 70s or 80s era QB I say yes but he played in the more high powered offenses of today and doesn't have the big numbers to match the other elite qbs of the last 15 years.

and Eli won 2 ships too

He's eligible for the first time next year I believe. 2009 was his last season. Whether or not he gets in will depend on how much slack they give him for the late start to his career and injuries derailing him a bunch. I'd lean yes, just because he's awesome and will get the benefit of the doubt because of that.

Think he's eligible next year. I don't think he'll be a 1st ballot guy, but he should definitely be in soon.

You must not be listening then because it has been discussed plenty of times

Yes

There will be opposition but let the playoff numbers speak for themselves. In the biggest games of his career he showed up.

Only QB besides Peyton Manning to start a SB with two different teams as far as I know. He's a HOFer.

He was a part of, "The Greatest Show on Turf" but I agree that he doesn't stand out like Brady and Peyton, despite his rings

I think there will be a similar debate about Eli for the same reasons you listed above
