I've got that and a Nikon
Monarch Gold in my safe without rifles to put them on. I'm thinking about buying a winchester model 70 SS extreme weather in .264 win mag and mounting the leupold on it.

it is a very good scope, draws in good light... but if im going to be completely honest....it has never done anything special that a nikon prostaff cant. I mean yes it has great glass and draws in light, but i take my guns with the prostaff on them most of the time and really never needed the leupolds extra benefits

That's how I feel about high dollar scopes.

What's that $2000 going to do that the $200 one can't. Both will keep me in the stand past legal shooting times.

If I'm going to stay any later I'll just buy a $50 Q-beam. The ticket from green jeans will read the same.

question OB folks....if you knew an employee of Leupold and gonna get a scope at their cost which one would you get?

Money isn't an issue. Want to do it right. Gonna go on my .300.

VX6 7-42x56 or Mark 8 3.5-25x56 (you could literally buy 2 nightforces or 1.5 S&Bs for the price of the Mark 8)
