"Charter TV"... constanly locks up after 10 seconds then sarts again only to lock up again and/or goes from HD to SD and back. I have an iPad Air with latest IOS. Connection speed (speedtest.charter.com) is 31.68 MBPS. By comparison, my Amazon Instant Video works beautifully. Not sure why Charter TV consistenly fails. I deleted and downloaded the app 3 times. No joy. I can't remember a time that it ever work well for more than 5 minutes

"Vimeo"... often gets stuck on a blank page or videos don't stream at all.

Anybody have similar issues with these?? Remedies?? TIA

For some reasons cable/sat companies and content providers don't put out the best apps.

Sounds like Charter TV just has a buggy app.

If you are running iOS 7 on an iPad Air, it's not you, it's their app.

ETA: Go read the reviews for this app in the App Store. It's 1 1/2 stars with everyone having similar complaints. It's just a bad app. Nothing you can do other than complain to them.

Dish tvapp is a piece of crap but it works enough that I use it.

Redbox app is a perfect compliment to the kiosks but it seems every version I've used crashes before I am able to complete a transaction.

Google wallet has never worked for me at Starbucks.

I'm drawing a blank but I know there have been a few I downloaded from major companies and after installation I was like wtf.. Is that it?

The Hertz app on iPhone is a complete piece of shite that rarely works as advertised. However, I'm not surprised as I have worked with an IT staffing firm that hertz utilizes regularly that was comprised of a bunch of morons.

ATT Uverse app is not very good. Layout is bad and it freezes often.

You'd think large companies would have the resources to build top-notch apps but they really do seem to suck at it.

NBC has pretty much unlimited resources and their content app was the worst app on my iPad for a very long time.

I guess their hearts just aren't into it because they despise having to adjust to the new world.
