It was a freak injury. This is a great opportunity for Davis to step up and be a leader on a big stage.

Better to just take Rose's passport away and let the other 18 non cursed players rep the USA. 2 sloppy turnovers in a row escalated quickly to an out of control play. I'm not blaming him btw, my gut just wants him nowhere near AD.

So I didn't see it, but I heard Marc Stein say it was the most gruesome injury he's ever seen.

I saw the Russ Smith and Joe Theismann injury. I'm assuming it's similar? And I don't wanna see it, so no gifs please.

Thought this was going to be about easing the Pacers pain by offering them Bucky.

You have to wonder if D rose was sitting there thinking to himself, "Am I just straight up bad luck?". You could tell by the look on his face that he felt the worse out of everybody.

Shaun Livingston had a nasty injury a few years back to his knee. I thought that was freak nasty...pretty sure this tops that...easily.

It's really weird. I have a lot of optimism when it comes to this season. But I worry a lot about injuries. Hopefully, we've already had our share and we're healthy for awhile.

I'll just say it's pretty bad if your right tibia takes a 90 degree right turn before the ankle.

Shaun Livingston's entire leg was jello. Plus it was his knee ligaments as well. Not a clean break like PG's

I turned on the tv right after it happened. I couldn't see who it was and the announcers weren't saying much. I kept asking my wife, "where's AD, where's AD?" I was nervous to say the least.

If AD is seriously injured before the season starts, just do me a favor and give me the Ol' Yeller treatment. TIA.

Do you mean kevin ware, not russ smith. Wrong Louisville player.

I don't even want to think about that possibility...AD getting injured that is.
