Well apparently they only use 2 DP spots right now and there is a good possibility that both Henry and Cahill leave after this season. Between that and now having to directly compete with NYC FC the Red Bulls (and MLS in general) is about to get interesting.

You think they both retire?

Can't see Cahill retiring. But with Wright-Phillips absolutely tearing it up, he's not as much a target this season. He might be getting bored.

I don't feel like Cahill is lacking in motivation, I just think he's willing to play out of position for the betterment of the team.

He's really quite useless as a box-to-box midfielder, because he's never been a great distributive midfielder.

He's great as a False 9 or weird #10 in a 4-4-2 who wins balls in the air, draws free kicks, and annoys the hell out of defenders.

I don't understand where Ronaldinho would fit in with BWP, Henry and Cahill.

I don't think Cahill retires, just doesn't stay with the NYRB. I have heard thoughts of him possibly finishing his career in Australia. Henry on the other hand, I think he might hang up the boots. I wish he would/could play forever though.

Agreed, if Henry and Cahill stay. Don't imagine both will be there next year ... maybe one or even none. NYRB needs big names to compete with NYC FC.
