On simple looks it's not a very drastic change, things just look flatter. The changes will be more apparent in use, as the way apps behave when you use them will be more fluid and active.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the announcement myself. I guess it just illustrates the maturity of mobile now. Less broad innovation, more small refinement.

The visual changes look like Sense 6. I guess that's why it doesn't look too different since I have an HTC.

I used it on the Nexus 5 for a month. It has a few bugs (like no MMS and GPS was spotty at times) that need to be fixed. I liked it a lot though. ART runs well with the apps that support it. The design looks good. Can't wait until they release an update to the beta or push out the release
