Yes. Jews were voting democratic when the party's base was the banjo boy from Deliverance. Don't think they'll ever migrate over to elephant land.

Actually, I know lots of Jewish republicans. But you're right, I've always found it counterintuitive that pro-Israel policy tends to be affiliated with the Republican Party when Jews tend to lean left.

Most of the Jews who care about Israel more than they care about domestic issues have already made aliyah. In isolated poll questions they will be pro-Israel but the single-issue voters aren't voting Republican, they're voting Likud. That's why most of the radical pro-Israel agenda in America is driven by Christians (that and they're a much bigger demographic).

Yes. You have a lot of Jews that could give one shite for what happens to Israel. They are in America. They don't give a damn what happens over there. They have their millions. Money over religion for 500 Alex.

1)How badly do the Democrats treat Israel? I could of sworn the majority of Dems in congress vote for Pro-Israeli bills as much as the GOP.
2) American Jews aren't going to vote GOP simply because of Israel.

Ideology speaking I would think the Jews will remain democrats as that side of the aisle leans toward socialist policy and I believe that is where the people of that sect would prefer to be. The more orthodox tend to be of communal lifestyle thereby leaning toward socialistic policies concerning all parts of their lives and governing.

The Dem running in 2016 better have Jewish support or we will stay home. I can see me voting for a moderate Republican if the Dems don't put more support behind Israel. Being honest and those who know me know I lean left.

So much ignorance here, Jews do not think and thus act as a collective hive in as much as so many of you might think. The seven tribes of Israel were scattered by God throughout the world but, honestly it was more like 700...

I laugh when I see posting by people who know 2 Jewish people. How many Jewish posters do we have besides me Sammy and one or two others. My point is that there is so much bs strewn about here by people on both sides that have no clue.
