Police Bashing Thread--True Story in Harahan Tuesday...

So my buddy was crashed into Tuesday around 1:00 on Citrus Blvd. They guy who hit him was texting and never saw him. 2 hours and the police never came (they were called 3 different times). Several pictures and video were taken and everyone left.
Several hours later at the Townplace Suites hotel manger calls police on kids and parents in parking lot (yes- I know trashy). Kids had just finished a late night baseball game and parents let swim after hours in pool (11:00pm). Guess how many units show up at hotel? 3..2 Sheriff cars and 1 State Police. Wow! Does it really take all this for such a simple call? And yes, they were total asses.

It's pretty common for police departments to have specific officers to respond to traffic accidents. Not saying it's any less fricked up, but that's what happened.

Pool closed at 10 and kids should not have been in there past this time. Just not sure it takes 3 units (including a State Tropper) to handle this.

sounds like a crappy PD - police respond to most calls in this area within minutes
