friend of the same gender obviously, let's say you've known them for a long time and were great buds, had no idea he/she was gay

IDK what's creepier, your obsession with Drake or homosexuality.

What's that got to do with anything?

Uh - unlikely. However, they're still the same person when they come out of the closest - probably a more relaxed person (although there might be some defensiveness if people react badly).

I don't think it would change much.

I wouldn't stop calling him a cocksucker even though he really was.

It wouldn't effect it at all. She would still be my friend. Although, pretty sure we wouldn't be attracted to the same people, so could wing man for each other.

I'd instantly marry him to protect him from all the he-devils in this world!

If I was real friends with somebody I would almost certainly know or suspect. Doubt it would be a surprise.

There are occasions at work where you are colleagues and "friendly" where you like them and all, but dont know everything about them. Even the ones that appear straight, if they virtually NEVER talk about their family, thats a clue.

Interesting twist. That idea has some merit. Nice work.

If you truly had no idea then you obviously weren't that close to begin with.

I became friends with a person at work who I knew was gay. That didn't mean we began having sex together.
