So now you have to register and log on to track a stupid package? Then, once you register, they fill your inbox with duplicate "updates"?

How about you just not lose the package and have it show up?

rant off/

Doesn't seem to need me to log in.

A vendor sent me a link and I couldn't track it without logging on. Had to register first.

Strange. Did you try manually typing in the tracking number, or was only the link provided?

That's weird. Just tracked some orders yesterday and no log on needed. Anything special about the shipping type?

My admin usually does this but she's out "having a baby".

You have to register to track it, so if you don't want to register then just don't track it and wait your impatient butt the old fashioned way

There is this new computer technique where you CUT AND PASTE the Tracking Number into the UPS website and track directly. The links are simply a convenience feature for low end computer users who are too lazy or not computer savvy enough to.... Oh damn, never mind.

I don't know if most people know this or not but... You can search a tracking # on Google as well so if you are using Chrome just copy and paste it to the address bar.

you can sign up for their little membership thing but you do not have to do this.

it's just a little convoluted way to find the right page that they hope makes people sign up

try this link No sign-in/registratrion required

Email the vendor and ask for just the tracking number.
