Which one do you want to own in a PPR league? Anyone can look at any sites rankings and literally see how the "experts" perceive their value, but what do you guys think? I would assume ADP on Colston is higher than the other two WR's but would you rather have Colston for let's say a 6th rounder (just assumption) or Stills in the 9th and Cooks in the 9th? Again these are assumption ADP's. I like Cooks' upside because of how explosive and shifty (Percy Harvin type of player) he is and Im curious how easily he can grasp the playbook. If he's the bonafide slot guy 90% of the plays, you have to think he would surpass the typical learning curve that most rookies have, mainly because of the type of athlete he is and the scheme the Saints run. What do you guys think?

Im thinking...
1. Colston
2. Cooks 70, 800, 7?
3. Stills

None unless I get them much lower than they are drafted. Rookie WRs rarely if ever produce so I'm staying away from cooks

Yea, exactly. That's what I was asking about. Rookie WR's do rarely produce so does anyone think Cooks can be an exception to the rule. That's basically saying do we think Cooks can start at the slot for the Saints? If he can, I think he has a great season (70,800,7) mainly because of that position for the Saints, and the void of Sproles in the offense. I know Pierre will absorb alot of those targets and Im targeting him as a RB3, but I also think the Saints short passing game could shift a little and try to involve the slot more to give more opportunity to the explosive Cooks.

Im going Stills all day. Cooks will be WAY over valued and Colston is too inconsistent.

I'd stay away from Colston. Looked like he really had trouble separating last year.

Ive never owned Colston and never will because I dont like how inconsistent he is. I was simply assuming the order in which they'll be drafted/valued.

Getting away from draft value and purely focusing on numbers, you still feel Stills has a better season than Cooks? I guess that's more of what Im asking. Which Saints WR will have the better overall numbers at seasons end and why do you feel that way?

I think it depends. I think Stills separates himself as the go to guy in this offense, but I think Cooks could have better games. Ultimately, I believe that Stills will have better season long stats.

I actually think Colston has a nice bounce back year. Especially if Cooks has a good rookie season and becomes that big play threat. Defenses will be focused on Graham and Cooks, leaving Colston going against a CB2. And Brees had a 68% completion percentage when going to Colston, which was top 5 in the NFL.

I traded for colston late last season and he was one of the primary reasons I made the title game in the pels talk league. I lost to lobos though

The saints are losing a ton of catches with Sproles & lance Moore. The most logical to fill those, to me, is Brandin cooks.

Remeber Eddie royals rookie year?

I'm thinking along the same line as you are.

he's lost a step, no doubt about it. But once guys like Cooks and Stills start commanding attention, it should open up more opportunities for Colston.

Teams will have to respect Cooks because of his speed.

I took Colston in the 8th round in a league from this board and felt like I didn't reach on him at all.

Colston lines up in the slot a good bit and is still a good mismatch against defenses in my opinion.

Yes indeed. That's where I'd keep him. Especially since he slower now.

Best WR in Saints history.

Stills is the guy you want.

I'm going to take a good bit of 2nd year WRs in my draft. That just seems like the new "breakout" year for them.
