From the little I have heard about Corey white so far during this camp it hasnt been good. Is it safe to assume its a two man race with Bailey and P. Rob for the #2 cornerback spot giving them an edge on the rook?

I'm starting to hear that tey may split time during games and also may split starts. I read nothing but good thing from both so far this camp.

It'll most likely be Robinson at RCB, and Bailey in the slot. I saw a stat yesterday that said we were in nickle almost 75% of the time last year, so Bailey will still get a lot of snaps. Having him in the slot will work well, because you'll get to limit his snaps somewhat to keep him fresh all year, while still getting a lot out of him.

It's Bailey's to win. P-Rob is our 2 unless he's outplayed.

P-Rob seemed to be doing well in RR's defense. Hope he can keep at it!

I like that idea. It would also help hide some of the speed he may have lost due to injury and age.

Regardless. I think the rotation at #2/nickel will be fine with Prob, bailey and white.

you have this backwards. It's Robinson's to win. Bailey was brought in here to be that veteran presence and hopefully still have some of that HOF play left in him. The coaching staff does this to create competition and inspire the younger guy to work and play harder to win the job. Do they want Robinson to win the job? Yes. But he has to earn it from Bailey (which they want).

Ultimately I think Bailey will be the #2 (he is doing well in camp so far) with P-Rob rotating around with him (as someone else pointed out)

I dont know I can see us going with bailey, P.rob and Bautise if he comes around. I think with his speed and lenght he could out do Corey white.

I don't see Jean-Baptiste getting many snaps this season at all.

We have some talent at CB, and that position takes a while to learn in the NFL.

I think SJB is still learning the position after only playing it for 2 years in College. It would be great to be able to use his size at that position, but it could be a while before he sees the field.

I don't see how anyone could be surprised with his showing in camp so far. I mean, aside from the "how dare you talk bad about one of our player's" fans that are embedded in these boards; it was clear last year that Corey White fricking sucks. He's god awful in man coverage and got burnt on numerous occasions last season, and yet people here still jumped to his defense. HE frickING SUCKS!!! And I hope we cut him.

I wish I knew where, but I'm almost certain that there is a link of an interview from CSP/RR that alludes to P-Rob being the guy. I'll try and find it, but it does make more sense to me that Bailey plays RCB. I'm not lobbying for P-Rob to start lol

It won't be Jean Baptiste. Probably Champ or Robinson.

It is very, very clear you have no idea what you're talking about. The team would be downright foolish to cut White. Even if he is not starter caliber, he is quality depth. And he played a TON of snaps last year... How many stick out in your head as him getting "burned"? 5? 6? Not even.
