In state alone there is enough talent to keep LSU in the NCAA T consistently.

13 players... not saying all are HM by any means but... that is super deep and I left out numerous, numerous D1 battle tested kids.
Safe to say the Top 7 that I bolded are being recruited by LSU and for damn good reason.

Thanks Coach. Good stuff. I've followed most of the highlighted guys at some point. The idea of them all being freshman scare me though... We will be very young in 16/17

We've offered more then one of them. I know for a fact we've offered Lard and Jerraue.

I know Skylar has offer he can commit to. Lard, Layssard, Jarreau, Robert Williams all looked at hard (offers coming or have) ... Malik, Wayde idk but my assumption is they end up with offers.

Quick question gurus......
Considering we are late in the cycle. If Mickey is going Pro wouldn't it benefit us having him to go ahead an announce versus delaying.
You would think that may make some recruits see the opportunity to come in an compete for immediate PT in teh Front court. (like Ray Kasonga)

I'm pretty sure Jones and Co would love for Mickey to come out right now and say he's coming back but that's not the case. Mickey and his people are going to go through the full process and make a decision. He wants to go pro no question about it, his feedback won't be favorable but at the same time if they don't feel he can improve his stock any he probably leaves anyway.

For JUCO guys, I don't see there being a big rush. Alot of times they do not commit till the summer. It's also too late to try and get in on good HS players. At this point, we need to just let Mickey make the best decision he can. He has given LSU two great years. If we get a third year, that would be wonderful.

I see on ESPN there is a 6'9", 245 lb. center named Khalea Turner out of River Ridge. Is LSU going after him?

Khalea is at Findley Prep. Has not played in Louisiana in a few years. Has not played much outside of a few summer league games and a few games at Findley this year at all in the past 3 seasons.

We could possibly lose 2 shooting guards next season so adding Sampson would be big for us in the future

I really would love Sampson b/c he isn't a 1 and done player, but if we get him and Malik, I don't know where we are gonna get the roster spots.

They are both takes, in the end, you have to improve your roster. We had too much dead weight on the roster this last season.
