Briscoe to UK, good for us getting Blakeney, But Briscoe did just throw out that he won't sign until April and knows what players are coming back to UK.

I think they lose:

Harrison
Harrison
Poythress
WCS
Towns

So that would be 5. They've already got 3 commitments and are still going after Malik Newman, Carlton Bragg, Stephen Zimmerman, Tone, Jaylen Brown, Ivan Rabb and Brandon Ingram. I'm pretty sure they'd take pretty much all of those guys over Tone too.

Let's look purely at guards. So if they lose the guys you have stated above, they'd still bring in/back...

Ulis (returning)
Booker (returning)
Hawkins (returning)
Briscoe (frosh)
Matthews (frosh)
Newman (frosh)

How many guards will they carry on scholly? How would the minutes be distributed? I know Tone likes everything that Kentucky has to offer, and he should because it's all first rate, but where does he fit in?

With LSU's guard situation already being thin, and the possibility of Gray being good enough to leave or Martin leaving and Hornsby potentially being able to play the 3, he can come in and grab huge minutes as a true freshman here.

Kentucky says all three recruits -- Briscoe, Labissiere and Matthews -- have signed.

Hope Craig Victor is enjoying his decision to go to Arizona.

He played 6 minutes tonight for them in a 23 point win over Mount St. Marys.

Newman is gonna wait till the spring, see what it looks like in terms of whose leaving early, then decide. Same list of blue bloods, with the home state mississippi schools thrown in.

Victor was stupid for signing with Arizona. Epps got solid minutes today and even Bridgewater. He would have played atleast 12 minutes if he would have signed with us.

He might have even started at the 3. But he made his bed, so now he's gotta lay in it. Gonna be funny when Zona signs Ivan Rabb and Victor will get his first chance at real playing time his junior year.

I saw tons of tweets about it... Sampson was held to 10 points and fouled out... Jacob Evans scored a bunch of points, don't remember how many.

As Sampson fouled out, the St Michaels student section chanted over-rated.

Some freshman from MPA scored 27 in that game last night and I think Evans had about the same

Would it be too far fetched to say Evans is ahead of Sampson at this point?

Premature. It was only one game. If Evans continue at a high level, and Sampson has troubles through the season....

I'd probably agree then. As of now, I think Sampson had a bad game.

He might just force Kentucky to take him, which sucks arse for us. We need him throwing up 30 bricks a night.
