Have u ever been in a situation this bizarre?

ok, i'm going to change a few details to protect this woman's identy 'cuz I don't want anyone posting they know her
here's the situation:
relatives of mine in florida both surgeons have a daughter who was brutally raped by a high-profile person's son
they are adamant on setting her up with me (for marriage I think)
for 2 years I've been kind of blowing it off - figured they'd lose interest but the situation escalated yesterday - they sent me a photo of the daughter who's identity has completely changed (i'll leave it at that) and are really pressing for me to meet her now
remember - i'm related to her - distantly
the mother (who is a surgeon) swears that she and I are destined to be married - it's very bizarre
so now they are trying to set up a meeting with me and this lady - she's very educated and very attractive but she's horribly scarred (psychologically) from this brutal rape
i want to meet her as she's a distant cousin I never knew about but honestly i'm very happy being single
the parents keep telling me that marrying a distant cousin is no big deal as long as kids aren't in the future - remember - they're both medical doctors
feel like i'm in the twilight zone in this situation - it's almost reach stalkerish proportions with the mother writing me unusual letters hand written - appears she spent hours writing these letters and drawing all kinds of stuff on them
it's just so weird guess i've blocked it out for the last 2 years
anyone ever been in this strange a situation?
would you be interested in marrying her?
