First:

Now....the way we do our draft is how you finish the year before gives you a choice of where you want to draft the next year. I just missed the playoffs even being the second highest scoring team in the league so I had the 7th pick...UNTIL the first 6 people chose not to select 2nd.

Our league(non ppr) awards 6 pts per passing td and just about every mock I run has Peyton Manning Going first and he very well might, but I am trying to prepare for the scenario that Charles or McCoy goes first.

QBs - TD=6, 1 per 100 yds and -2 per INT
RBs / WRs - TD=6, 1 per 25 yds

Of the 6 teams to make our playoffs last year the final QB ranking of each team was 6th, 11th, 2nd, 26th, 10th and 3rd so obviously having a tier 1 QB is not paramount.

So, in regards to the scoring above how would you rank Charles, McCoy and Manning (non PPR)?

I'm thinking:
1 - Charles
2 - McCoy
3 - Manning

Jut take whichever is left between Charles and McCoy. Easy pick.

Yeah, that's my thought. The mocks are a nice tool and all, but I just can't see Manning over either one of them and every mock I run has Manning going one.

The guy who won last year and picks first this year did so with Dalton at the helm, so I don't think he feels the need to select a QB first, but if he does it would feel like Christmas Day to go from the 7th pick in the draft to landing Charles.

Only 1 point for every 100 yards the QB throws? That's crazy. On the 7th pick, that's actually my favorite spot this year. I hope to get either 5 or 7 in our draft.

I don't know. I use fantasyfootballcalculator.com for my mocks, and I've never seen manning go 1st in a ppr mock. He's usually end of 1st to late 2nd.

Also, seems 1pt/100 yards sort of negates the 6pt TDs. I'd avoid Manning, and take Charles, McCoy, or (god forbid) Peterson.

Yes, and honestly I wish it was less than that. I prefer scoring heavy leagues. Used to be 1 per 125 until a few years ago.
