Wasn't mowing that specific area of the yard. Saw him going down toward the creek, got off the mower and whacked him with a big stick. My son is holding it so I can take picture. It was 32" long which is pretty big for a copperhead.

Copperheads have one of the best looking patterns and skin. Moccassin I got last weekend
