obviously pre season friendlies
but 3-0 to olympiakos?
the beat down yesterday from City?

all this coming off an 8th place finish, a new coach, the always present Silvio Berlusconi cloud....

Yes. It's amazing how far they've fallen. They were THE club in world football during the early to mid naughts.

They just lived off those old arse players for so long and bargain basement transfers recently...

Wouldn't be surprised to see them get raided for El Sharaawy and De Sciglio soon, too...

Granted it's preseason, but both performances in the ICC have just been sad to watch.

I seem to recall another fan base saying the same thing this time last year.

"Sure we lost to the Thai All-Stars, but it's just preseason."

Southampton's current first team would beat them.

They've been in a rut for a few years it seems. Strange for a team that's arguably had the best history of any club ever.

Yes. They just lost their best/most exciting player to Liverpool for less money than they bought him for. Even after he scored 30 goals in 54 games.

I'm reading a lot of bitter posts about Balotelli from AC Milan supporters. It's got to be the result of them realizing they've really got nothing left. Even in a slump, Balotelli can provide a spark. Now they're just bad.
