Kinda like how the Catholic Church takes donations and then pays for people's water - and other - bills?

So you're pretty much calling all Catholics suckers, right?

Easy now - this is private charity, not government overreach. This is the kind of social safety net conservatives should want.

It would appear the OP quite simply hates those in need. As with the posts of many extreme righties - he reveals 10x more about himself than anything else in every post.

Living in Jackson MI, 75 miles from downtown Detroit I say, take the cell phones, cable, cars that the people can't afford and pay your bills.

Not amazing - another hypocritical right winger who hates both private and public charitable giving.

I'm actually with you on this one Spidey - this kind of stuff is exactly what society needs more of.

Conservatives and libertarians should support this - its people willingly helping those in need, without state coercion.

Come on Tuba.

Nobody on here betrays a lack of compassion for the poor, or their indifferent nature to those suffering, unless you can actually PROVE IT.

Until then, those ''conservatives' are just kidding.

I bet those in need all manage to have their smartphones and data plans and oversized rims on their cars.
