The man has a solid record in a purple-blue state. Economy here is booming and a lot of DEMs just can't stand him. Why is this? How much more successful can he be or is it just simply the fact he's a conservative?

Dealt some heavy blows to unions, particularly teacher's unions with some education reforms.

He is who I am rooting for right now.

He rightfully reigned in public sector unions. Being a union state, this didn't sit over well with some folks there. He's won handily in two elections, though. He'll be fine.

You're underlying point is well made. Even if one were to show clearly the success of the conservative methodology, a lib could never collaborate its effectiveness. It reminds me of that biblical thingy about how they won't change their perceptions, even if one 'were to rise from the dead'

The more of a threat someone is to libs the more shrill and desperate their smears get.

This

And from everything I have read, all of those blows have been extremely positive on the state

Intelligent, objective people love Scott Walker. Like somebody has already said, he reigned in the public sector unions and returned Wisconsin to fiscal stability in the process. Liberal Democrat politicians have been giving away the bank to these unions for years in return for campaign contributions and votes, and the results have been catastrophic for local and state municipalities all over the country.

Governor Scott Walker should be hailed as an American hero for what he has accomplished in Wisconsin. His actions should be used as a blueprint for the rest of us.

Of course, I began this post by saying that intelligent, objective people love what Scott Walker has accomplished. Sadly, that leaves out left-wing nut jobs like Rex and Tuba, as well as 90% of the mainstream media. It's the latter group who are primarily responsible for why Scott Walker's monumental and historic achievements have been predominantly swept under the rug.

I'm hoping wither Walker or Rand Paul is our next President.

Of public government unions whose members are paid by taxpayers.

There's a downside to that for you?

No, I think it's a flash of humility from spidey, enjoy it, it may not occur for another 76 years.

Tuba, those unions were budget busters.

Why am I not surprised that you are clueless regarding the scam that public-sector unions and Democrat politicians have combined to perpetrate on American taxpayers?

For once, why don't you make an effort to understand the depth and complexity of an issue? Of course, I may be giving you too much credit by assuming that you're capable of doing so.

And how is this a bad thing? BTW, He isn't the union buster, the union is it's own undoing when it becomes a burden on the economy in it's region. You do realize those jobs were and would still be available with no union, right? Please don't act like a union creates ANYTHING, all it does is steal money from hardworking Americans.

IMO there is no way a person without a college degree will become the President going forward. The media would sink them for it.

Wasn't the major change that employees were not forced into a union... That they could decide whether to join or not

And if I remember right, a ton of public unions membership dropped by 50% after people were allowed to choose whether to be part of it or not.

The responses about unions are spot on.

He exposed and defeated one of the most damaging scams ever perpetrated on the American taxpayer: public unions.

Because his defeat of the unions led to good things for the state over all, the Dems had to open up the entire play book on him to frighten any other politicians so they wouldn't do the same. He had to be made an example.

This.

With a complicit national media, his accomplishments will never be championed in the main stream, unless it is on Fox.

Unfortunately, I think the only people who watch Fox are progs, so this too will be ignored or written off as a lie.
