Is it really necessary to start a thread any time a dog attacks someone in this country?

Should've saved this for Monday day crew.

Pitbulls are evil.
Pitbulls are great it depends on the owner.
Kill all of the pitbulls.
Kill all of the shitty pitbull owners.
Only people with pitbulls are trash with an inferiority complex.
I wish the cops would shoot all of the pitbulls.

There needs to be a difinitive genetic spectrum for "Pit bulls".
It's less a breed than it is a group of characteristics belonging to several breeds.
For any meaningful debate or legislation to take place, there needs to be a firm, universally recognized, definition of what a pit bull actually is.

Also, while I'm not a champion of one side of the debate or the other, the run-of-the mill American mutt displays traits associated with "Pit Bulls." So report statistics of Pit Bull attacks are not necessarily reliable.

No but since it's a pit bull, they figure we should add it to the list of things they have so far to get a petition going to ban the breed or kill all pits.

Such a misunderstood breed!!!
It's all about the owner!!!
It was mislabeled a pit bull!!!
I have a pit, and she's never even growled!!!!

Again, it's not a single breed of dog. There lies the problem.

No

Just when it's a "pitbull".
