would you give her the green light? I'm arguing with multiple brothers about this and they are all playing the "ZOMG absolutely not!" card. I don't see the big deal here. It's not a tatoo(wouldn't care either) or something permanent or crazy. As long as she is demonstrating maturity, making good grades, has a good head on her shoulders, etc it's fine. And I don't think it's trashy either. What do y'all think?

It's just a piercing. A trashy piercing IMO but a piercing nonetheless.

How is it trashy? I know tons of "classy sorority chicks" that have them as well as girls that go to my big money church.

I dunno. It's kind of a sign that she's sexually active.

I know others may not think of it as but it's just something that the "country girls" at my high school would get.

That's what they're saying. I disagree, it's just accesorizing.

I don't think it's associated with or preferred by any specific group of girls at all.

This is pretty much why I'd have a problem with it.

They've become a trendy fad lately, but it wasn't too long ago (less than 10 years ago) - that a bellybutton ring kinda signified "I'm DTF... in the arse".

I realize being objective and supporting/not supporting things like this is difficult but if you trust your kid/younger sibling I don't see the problem.
